My name is Juhyeon An. My family is consisted of father, mother, brother and me. I grow up in Daegu, South Korea.
Daegu is a metropolis with the populatoin of 2.5 millions. Geographically, it's surrounded by mountains thus it's hot during the summer and very cold during the winter. Especially, Palgongsan is famous place. There are Palgong Skyline, Gatbawi and ete. Palgong Skyline runs for between the Donghwasa Restaurant District and a mountain peak 820m above sea level. There is a concession stand for food and beverage, mountaineering courses to Donghwasa Temple and Sutae-gol Valley. GatbawiIt is well known for its effectiveness on people 's prayers and also its attractive tracking course. Many people frequent the place. It is a great stone Buddha with a stone hat on his head sitting on top of Gwanbong Peak, which is 850m high above sea level.
Daegu is also an international city. It had successfully host 2002 World Cup and Universiad in 2003. Based on these experiences, it will successfully host World Track and Field competition in coming 2011.
